GOOD BEGINNINGS – REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS
The successful candidates will work as part of a team to provide care for children (birth to 13 years of age) in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings. They will follow the Program Statement, confidentiality, and the policies established by the Board of Directors, and regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act. They will also ensure that they are integrating Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment.
GOOD BEGINNINGS – SCHOOL AGE DESIGNATED EDUCATORS
This is a 12-month permanent position. September to June will be within our Before and After School Programs, as well as any Non-Instructional Day programs (PA Days, Winter & March Breaks). During July and August, the average hours per week will be 25-35 at our Summer Care program.
GOOD BEGINNINGS – SCHOOL AGE SUPERVISOR
Good Beginnings is seeking to hire a permanent School Age Supervisor. They will provide leadership to the Educators of our Before and After School Programs, by actively promoting Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the School Age Supervisor oversees the services of the Before and After School Programs as they relate to staff, families, and the community. They ensure that they observe and implement the policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act, and that Confidentiality Agreements are adhered to within the Early Learning environments. They will actively promote the Mission, Vision, and Program Statements of Good Beginnings Day Nursery Woodstock Inc.
GOOD BEGINNINGS – HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
Good Beginnings is seeking to hire an exceptional individual to fill a Human Resources Coordinator – Staffing and Development role. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to conduct full cycle recruitment and provide mentorship, training and support to the employees. They will integrate Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment. They are to ensure that the policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act, and the Confidentiality Agreements are adhered to within the Early Learning environments. Positions are available at all of our 13 School Age Programs, as well as at our 4 Child Care Centres.
OXFORD COMMUNITY CHILD CARE - SUPERVISOR
This position is responsible for mentoring and supervising staff in the planning and implementation of a high quality, developmentally appropriate program that enhances children’s development in all domains and in accordance with program philosophies and legislation requirements. They act as a role model and provide an emotionally supportive environment with ongoing support and guidance. The position evaluates the program and staff, ensuring compliance with the Child Care & Early Years Act and OCCC program standards. This position requires frequent travel across Oxford County to School Age program locations.
OXFORD COMMUNITY CHILD CARE - SCHOOL AGE FACILITATOR
The School Age Facilitator plans, implements and participates in the development of programming to enhance children’s development in all domains in accordance with program philosophies and legislative requirements. Regular and ongoing communication and consultation with the Supervisor, co-workers and families is key. The Facilitator provides a safe and emotionally supportive environment and performs all administrative tasks including on-site licensing.
