Description:
Good Beginnings is a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors comprised of parents/guardians and community representatives, who are committed to providing high quality early learning and child care programs to the children and families of Oxford County since 1986. It is our mission to be a leader in the provision of quality child care programs, which are affordable and accessible to families in Woodstock and the surrounding communities, delivered by professional and caring Educators.
Resource Consultants provide information, support and consultation services to families and early learning programs throughout Oxford County in a collaborative and flexible manner that supports the principles of inclusion and a family centered approach. These supports are provided through an “Equity Lens” that is reflective of the diverse needs of children and families within our communities.
Qualifications:
We are seeking to fill this position with a reliable, friendly, and energetic individual. The successful candidate will be required to possess the following qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education
Current Member in good standing with College of Early Childhood Educators
Early Childhood Resource Consulting certification or equivalent
Minimum two years of experience working with children 0-12 years of age with diverse needs, families, and communities in early learning environments
