At the Early Learning Centre, we really value and try to create spaces where the children can explore, create and have fun in a place they feel welcome and safe. We want them to feel like the classroom is truly theirs and they know that their voice matters. You will not find one classroom with the same style, but all of them are always evolving to meet the needs of the children and educators. As a small centre, Orchard Park has one long hallway. Some might see it as congested, but we like to think of it as buzzing with connections! We are constantly crossing each other’s paths, seeing former children as well as becoming familiar with future ones while they get ready for outside. An infant staff helping a Preschooler get their mitten on as they pass by, or a preschool staff wiping a toddler’s nose, to a former parent stopping to reconnect with a past educator.
