CONNECTIONS WITH CLAY: INSPIRING EDUCATORS IN THE EARLY YEARS (MIDDLESEX)

  • Komoka Community Centre Meeting Room 133 Queen Street Komoka, ON, N0L 1R0 Canada (map)

Facilitated By: Krista Thompson (She/Her), BFA, RECE, EarlyON Supervisor for St. Thomas, Central Elgin, and Southwold

In this interactive workshop participants will explore clay and sculpture. Through hands on experiences individuals will examine how the artistic process encourages belonging, expression, engagement, and well-being. We will also focus on how educators can apply this medium in their early years programming and the importance art plays in child development. Please dress appropriately as clay can be messy.
