Facilitated by: Kayla Paquette RECE, Strive Community Animator & Kayla Bartlett RECE, Strive Interim Manager
Are you a Registered Early Childhood Educator? Then, this network of support is for you! The Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) program is an ongoing professional learning program that is grounded in self-reflection, self-directed learning, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
The CPL Program is designed to support RECEs to
enhance their knowledge and skills,
strengthen their professional judgment and
improve their practice throughout their career.
It communicates to families, colleagues, and the public that RECEs are members of a distinct profession. In this quarterly, recurring support network you will have the chance to gather with other RECEs, ask questions, share ideas, and chat about all things CPL.
Kayla Paquette (she/her) is a registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program in 2019. Prior to this role, Kayla worked as a Pedagogical Mentor for a childcare and early years centre. She looks forward to connecting with the broader community through Strive, offering her support in a greater capacity.
Kayla Bartlett (she/her) is the Strive Interim Manager and has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Studies. She has experience working within full day childcare, before and after school programs, camps, as well as administrative and supervisory positions. In May 2022, Kayla was a Champion of Change panelist in the Heartwork and So Much More event.
