  • Hybrid (Zoom and Strive) 265 Maitland Street London, ON, N6B 2Y3 Canada (map)

Facilitated by: Haille Ifabumuyi, HBECL, RECE

Welcome to the first Community of Practice: Leadership of 2024!

This opportunity invites professionals who work in leadership positions (e.g., director, supervisor, manager, coordinator) to come together and collaboratively reflect on leading and supporting professionals in various early learning and child care programs.

Participants will share experiences, ideas, and resources, offer one another support and mentorship, listen, and ask thoughtful questions. Topics may include administration, communication with families and professionals, inspiring a team, and much more. Conversations emerging from this group will be ongoing.

Haille Ifabumuyi (she/her) is a Registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership Program in 2020, and then moved on to her Master’s of Critical Policy, Equity, and Leadership studies in Western University’s Faculty of Education and graduated in 2022. Previous to this role, Haille was working for the City of London as a Community Support Associate in the child care fee subsidy team of the Child Care and Early Years department. She has also taught in the Early Childhood Education and Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership programs at Fanshawe College, and hopes to continue teaching in the future. Haille is looking forward to starting her journey with Strive, and supporting the early years’ community in a different capacity.
