GOOD BEGINNINGS – SCHOOL AGE DESIGNATED EDUCATORS
The successful candidate will provide child care for children (3.8 years to 12 years of age) in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings. They will follow the Program Statement, confidentiality, and the policies established by the Board of Directors, and regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act. They will also ensure that they are integrating Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment.
GOOD BEGINNINGS – BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATORS
The successful candidate will provide child care for children (3.8 years to 12 years of age) in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings. They will follow the Program Statement, confidentiality, and the policies established by the Board of Directors, and regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act. They will also ensure that they are integrating Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment.
The role of the successful candidates will be to fill in for employee absences, whether those absences are due to illness, vacation, or other breaks. When not required for coverage, they will provide support within a specific room based on the needs of the program.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be available during Good Beginnings’ hours of operation (6:30 am to 6:00 pm).
OXFORD COMMUNITY CHILD CARE - SCHOOL AGE FACILITATOR
The School Age Facilitator plans, implements and participates in the development of programming to enhance children’s development in all domains in accordance with program philosophies and legislative requirements. Regular and ongoing communication and consultation with the Supervisor, co-workers and families is key. The Facilitator provides a safe and emotionally supportive environment and performs all administrative tasks including on-site licensing.
