Burnout 101: Identifying Signs of Burnout & Strategies to Mitigate Stress in The Workplace

Burnout is the primary cause of poor workplace engagement, employees quitting quietly, and lack of job satisfaction. When chronic stress goes unaddressed, individuals become more susceptible to experiencing burnout. This workshop can help individuals recognize the signs of chronic stress and burnout, and provide strategies for stress management.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to discern between chronic stress and burnout.

  • Participants will gain tools for understanding the body’s stress response.

  • Participants will learn strategies to mitigate burnout in the workplace to increase mental efficiency and work satisfaction.

Burnout 102: When Burnout Disrupts Your Mental Health & Self-Care Strategies to Support Your Well-Being

Burnout can lead to mental health-related issues such as anxiety and depression, impacting employee performance and overall quality of life. This workshop will provide education on depression and its link to burnout and help individuals recognize how it has impacted their mental health.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will gain a clear understanding of the link between burnout and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

  • Participants will be able to recognize how burnout has impacted their mental health and develop strategies to manage depressive symptoms.

  • Participants will learn self-care strategies to support their overall well-being and improve their quality of life.

Burnout 103: The Power of Healthy Habits & The Tools You Need to Manage Stress & Burnout

Managing burnout is not a one-shot approach. Instead, it requires intentionality and awareness of triggers that induce feelings of stress in the first place. This workshop will give individuals a rigorous amount of tools to help them build healthy habits and manage stress and burnout in their everyday lives, personally and professionally.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to identify triggers that induce feelings of stress and burnout.

  • Participants will learn practical strategies to mitigate stress and burnout in their everyday lives, both personally and professionally.

  • Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of healthy habits in managing stress and burnout, and develop a plan to integrate these habits into their daily routines.

Minaa B. is a writer, licensed mental health professional, and founder of Minaa B. Consulting, a mental health consulting practice that works with organizations to develop psychological safety and become mental health-inclusive. With over nine years of clinical experience as a therapist, Minaa specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma. Minaa also spent over five years working as a mental health consultant in Early Head Start providing services to children ages 0-5 and training educators and staff on early childhood social-emotional development. Minaa's work and teachings have been featured in a variety of publications such as The Today Show, BBC, Facebook Watch, and more. Currently, Minaa sits on the Mental Health Advisory Board for Selena Gomez's media company Wondermind, and she is contracted with Tarcher Perigee to release her first book in August 2023.
