Facilitated by: Raluca Wood RECE, MPEd, Strive Professional Learning Lead
Much like children, we build healthy foundations for learning in spaces that we feel wanted in; that we see familiar faces in. We like to engage in meaningful conversations with individuals we know, or with materials that interest us. We want to be given opportunities to express our ideas in ways that make sense to us, the ways we feel represent us and our perspectives the best. We want to have access to diverse learning opportunities, to partake in conversations that fuel healthy habits and patterns of growth.
In this session, Raluca will take you back to the basics to help you understand the four foundations and how you relate to them as a human being in your own personal roles, and as a professional with children and colleagues. We will talk about what this document means to you and how it looks within early years environments. Whether this is your first job within the ECEC sector, or you’d like a refresher – join us! We would love to hear how learning happens for you!
