Facilitated by: Dr. Beverlie Dietze
Many early learning activities traditionally offered in indoor spaces can be adapted to outdoor environments, enriching children’s experiences while fostering their curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. Participants will discover how many math, literacy, art, and sensory experiences can be embedded in outdoor environments, especially when natural materials and open-ended provocations are available throughout the play space. This hands-on, outdoor workshop, will offer playful experiences that will embrace the possibilities of outdoor spaces, and create dynamic, child-led learning experiences in an array of environments.
Please note: This is an outdoor workshop. Dress for the weather
