A BOOK TASTING: CONVERSATIONS ON CHILDREN’S BOOKS

  • Strive 265 Maitland Street London, ON, N6B 2Y3 Canada (map)

Facilitated By: The Strive Team

Typically used and generally known for engaging children in a deeper understanding of selecting and enjoying books based on their favourite topics, ‘book tastings’ have become quite trendy amongst educators and teachers alike. Following in the creative footsteps of some research and exploring creative ways to hold conversations about books, we have curated a selection of children’s books for you to ‘taste’!

Be our guest, and enjoy a picnic experience, while thinking about what makes us choose books, why do we feel connected with the material and how do we share them with children? Sara and Liz, our Resource Centre Specialists will also share their team’s process for selecting books that are shared with the community in the ECE Professional Resource Centre.
