Alicia Vanderwerf (she/her), OCT, RECE, is the newest Professional Learning Specialist on the Strive team, but she may be a familiar face! Alicia worked at Childreach for many years and still supplies to support the EarlyON team. Alicia is an Ontario Certified Teacher and Registered Early Childhood Educator.
She is passionate about lifelong learning, and loves being surrounded by fellow professionals who share that enthusiasm. She believes it creates such a vibrant atmosphere of growth and collaboration.

Andera Novak (she/they) is the Marketing and Communications Specialist, a new position on the Strive Team. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience working in early years settings. Though not an RECE, Andera has a deep appreciation for the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
She manages Strive’s social media content, capture engaging event images, ensuring brand consistency across print and digital mediums, and generally communicates about the incredible events, professional development opportunities, and resources in various ways!
