Guest Bios

Kimiko Boon-Owens (she/her) (pictured on the left) is a registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated in 2010 from Fanshawe College, and is the EarlyON Coordinator for Family Centre Westminster. Kimiko was inspired to begin her journey as an Early Childhood Educator through her high school placement with Ontario Early Years -Fanshawe right here in London Ontario. Kimiko enjoys the community aspect and building relationships with the whole family.

Jenn Fenn (she/her) (pictured on the right) has been working as an RECE for 21 years for the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario. She has worked in every age group but absolutely loves infants the most! Jenn currently works for the Family Centre Carling Thames as an EarlyOn facilitator. She has a passion for building relationships with families and children in her programs. Jenn is a passionate advocate for EarlyON and Family Centre teams and the unique roles involved. She is eager to bring the EarlyON teams together for a chance at open conversations and a safe space. In her spare time Jenn likes to travel, read and walk.
