Raheek Kadhum (she/her) (pictured in the middle) is a Registered Early Childhood Educator, passionate about engaging in play-based learning to supporting the development of social, emotional, and cognitive skills of children done in a safe, compassionate, and welcoming environment that will positively impact the community. Her wish is to ultimately ensure children reach their development milestones as they begin their journey of lifelong learning.

Raheek always imagined herself living in a perfect world where laundry would fold itself and teachers get to wear superhero capes! She grew up in Iraq where we celebrate Teachers Day every year on March 1st. We were taught that a teacher is like a candle burning itself to light up the path for others. She hopes that she has brought about that same light for the children she has taught. Raheek loves exploring new places in and outside of her country, reading philosophical books, and enjoying Turkish coffee.
