Kathleen Lee (she/her), RECE, is currently finishing up her degree in the Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership at Fanshawe College. During the summer, Kathleen had the opportunity to work alongside Kirsti Cheese for her internship journey, where she got to make connections with families, and hear, and learn about their lived experiences. Kathleen is passionate about her reflective practice as an educator and developing caring relationships with those around her. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys going for walks with her dog, Archie, hiking, and working towards a T.C.R.G (Certified Irish Dance Teacher) to teach children, youth, and adults how to Irish Dance.

Kim Baltare (she/her), RECE, is a graduate of Fanshawe College. Kim has over 25 years working with children and families. Child Care, School Age, as an Educational Assistant for TVDSB, and currently with the rewarding and gratifying position at Family Centre Fanshawe as the Family Resource Support and Lead Community Connecter for London Children’s Connection! Kim’s career in child care has allowed her to raise her children and work closely with them and now is most fortunate to have her daughter in law and grandchildren come to the family centre playgroups at Fanshawe Family Centre.

Kim is incredibly passionate about helping others and is so lucky to have such a rewarding career. Her role involves community connecting and this extends to her life outside of the family centre as well, as Kim sits on the Board of Directors for London Abused Women’s Centre. In her spare time Kim spends time with her family and 14-year-old cat Phil, loves the beach and yoga and dancing!

Zichen Li (she/her), RECE, graduated from Fanshawe College with an ECE diploma and Early Childhood Educational Leadership Degree. Now, she is a full time EarlyON Facilitator and Connector at Family Centre Carling-Thames. Zichen is honoured to have such a special experience and opportunity to share EarlyON information to more families. Every communication with families is a meaningful connection to her! She hopes this Podcast episode can let more people know about Family Centre and EarlyON Program. They are always there to help!
