Guest Bio

Bre (she/they), RECE, is Strive’s Data Specialist. She has been with the Strive Team for 3 years this August. Bre is a strong advocate for inclusive practice, which includes supports for racial, cultural, gender, and ability diversity. They are also part-time faculty at Fanshawe College, currently supporting the Inclusive Practice course in the part-time online ECE program. In her spare time, you’ll find Bre tending to her many house plants, endlessly scrolling Pinterest, and spending quality time with her fiancé, Mac (who you can listen to on Minisode 06)!

Jenn (she/her), RECE, is the Strive Project Intern from the Early Childhood Leadership Program at Fanshawe. She has been with the Strive team since May 2023. Jenn’s passion is also inclusive practice, especially celebrating and uplifting Asian cultures. After work, you’ll find Jenn spending lots of time with friends and family or at the dance studio showing off her hip-hop skills.

Liz (she/they), RECE, is the Strive ECE Professional Resource Centre Intern from the Early Childhood Leadership Program at Fanshawe. They have been with the Strive team since May 2023. There may be a theme here…Liz is also a strong advocate for inclusive practice, focusing specifically on Indigenous knowledges and practices and gender justice. In her spare time, you’ll catch Liz sharing quality time with her fiancé, her son, and their many pets!
