She says she doesn’t want to hurt anybody, but she wants to tell the truth about racism and discrimination. Ingrid Waldron explains how there is a reluctance to name racism even though it embeds itself into all our social structures.
Question: Licensed child care is a field with a high degree of compliance. Do you ever find it difficult to use your voice and challenge things? What about naming racism and disrupting the status quo?
