Visibility of LGBTQ families in our early learning environments, both at an organizational level and within the classroom, creates a safe and nurturing environment for all children, families and staff. In this dynamic and interactive workshop designed for supervisors, we will cover topics such as our early beliefs, current and appropriate terminology, realistic case scenarios, the importance of visibility and where to find useful resources.Participants will take a close look at changes that can be made at an organizational level and how to support staff as they creatively introduce and use family diversity resources to plant seeds of acceptance with confidence in the classroom and environment.
This is a collaborative partnership with London Children’s Connection. An access code is available for London Children’s Connection employees.
