Jade Rogers is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been working as an OT for ten years and has always had an interest in working with children. Upon graduation, Jade worked as an OT in schools and has had a vision of change ever since; having her own children re-ignited a spark to get children playing outside and learning outside the walls of a classroom. When Jade found TimberNook she realized she shared this vision with an army of other outdoor play advocates and her career path was solidified.
Outside of TimberNook, Jade is also starting her own private paediatric OT business called Outdoor Occupational Therapy Elgin and volunteers with a local festival committee where she runs children’s programming. Personally, Jade enjoys reading, sports and outdoor adventures with her husband, two sons, and giant Newfoundland dog.
