Join us as deepen our understanding of the rich and distinct culture and heritage of Métis peoples.
Members of the Early Learning & Child Care Advisor team at Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO), Jennifer Boston and Sherry Lance will share an introductory overview of Métis history, culture, and way of life.
Jennifer and Sherry will highlight the various Early Learning and Child Care programs and services available for Métis communities and families as well as ELCC professionals.
There will also be an opportunity for discussion and Q&A.
A great opportunity to learn and grow our knowledge as we further our commitment to Truth & Reconciliation and fostering culturally safe early years environments.
The mission of the Métis Nation of Ontario Early Learning and Child Care Program is to improve access to culturally grounded early learning opportunities for Métis individuals, families, and the Métis community as a whole. They do this by promoting and fostering community development and providing the care and support necessary to meet the fundamental needs of MNO citizens.
