Facilitated By: Jamie Fenton, Programs & Services Manager at the London Children’s Museum

“Creating and designing fuse together the cognitive, emotional, and physical domains

– thinking, feeling, and doing” (How Does Learning Happen?)

Art encourages us to cherish our intuition, uncertainty, and creativity through expression, problem-solving, and communication, both verbal and nonverbal

In this session, Jamie Fenton from the London Children’s Museum, will remind us of how to put play back into art by taking simple ideas and going beyond paper and pen. We will explore the creative benefits of Process vs Product as well as how documentation of this work can be just as special and impactful as a take home craft.

There is so much to discover as we dive into the why’s of creative expression and start getting comfortable with making a mess.  Jamie will share tangible ideas that you can take back and adapt for your play and learning environments.

Join us in exploring, creating, and letting our minds run free!
