Facilitated by: The Strive Wellness Committee

In a year such as this one, tapping into positive emotions does not always feel possible. However, there is a practice that is always accessible to us and the effects are pretty powerful: gratitude. Gratitude is the quality of being thankful and a readiness to show appreciation. Not only is a grateful outlook just a nice way to move through the world but there is also compelling evidence to suggest that it is actually really good for our well-being too. Research has shown that habitually practicing gratitude can reduce stress, mitigate depression, strengthen relationships, and increase resilience. It can literally change our brains and bodies at a cellular level.

Join us as we dig into all things gratitude and explore how we can effectively cultivate a practice and attitude of gratitude at home, at work, and with the children we care for.

The success of a Community of Practice relies on shared reflection and the open exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge between members. Please come prepared to engage in meaningful conversation.
